November Newsletter

Term One Report Card will be issued on Friday, November 22.  The reports will be available via the Parent Portal. Thursday, November 28 is Parent/Teacher Interview evening.  Parents are asked to access the Parent Portal to select Parent/Teacher interview times.      Read more here .

Farm to School Fundraiser

Our Farm to School Fundraiser begins November 1 and ends November 18.  Packages consist of carrots, onions, potatoes.  Larger packages also include cabbage and parsnips.  If you have lots vegetables in storage from your garden, you can still support Kleefeld School by purchasing vegetables for our local food bank, Grunthal Caring Hands.  Donations will be transported directly to the food bank.  Funds raised for Kleefeld School will be used for continued playground development and to support student events.

Outdoor Recess

The playground is wet but recess will be outdoors. Make sure you are dressed to play outside. Students are encouraged to stay out of mud and puddles.

School team volleyball is in full swing. Please check the calendar to see when Kleefeld School is hosting. Come cheer on Kleefeld School teams.

Hot Lunch

Due to the missed lunch on October 11th, hot lunch this Friday, October 18th will be Chicken Nuggets. If you paid for the October 11th lunch, there is no need to purchase lunch for this week, your lunch money will transfer to this weeks hot lunch.

PAC Constitution

Kleefeld School PAC has made a motion to make an amendment to the constitution 5.1A. Currently the constitution says “5.1 Meeting Parameters A) There shall be an Annual General Meeting held by the fifteenth (15th) of October each year. The purpose of this meeting will be to review the past years goals and set goals for the upcoming school year.
